The tournament will take place in beautiful Panama City, Panama—just a few miles from the world-famous Panama Canal. Known as a global hub for banking, business, and logistics, Panama City boasts one of the most impressive skylines in the world, ranking 5th globally for skyscrapers per capita.
Panama is a hidden gem, offering lush rainforests, world-class fishing, volcanoes, stunning beaches, and extraordinary biodiversity. It's also the only country in the world where you can drive from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean in less than an hour.
The 2027 Panama Canal Cup is set to be our biggest and most professional event yet. We’re targeting at least 8 courts to expand draw sizes and reduce wait times, along with 4+ top professional men and 4+ top professional women competing and elevating the level of play. In addition, we are introducing cash prize money across divisions, along with high-quality gear prizes for competitors at multiple levels.
Expect more certified referees, pro-led clinics, and official referee training classes as we continue building the sport in Panama. We’ll also offer curated travel packages and discounted lodging, creating a seamless experience for visiting players. The event atmosphere will be bigger than ever, featuring vendor booths, premium gear sales, sponsor activations, giveaways, and an exciting raffle. 2027 will be a true international pickleball experience in Panama.
